I was asked to participate in a Press Conference by Supervisor Gordon Mar where he announced that he was going to introduce a legislation to have SFPD collect demographic information of victims when they file a police report. This way, we will actually have a better understanding of the trends (if any) and be able to figure out of the crimes are related to gender identity, sexual orientation, race, age, religion etc.
NBC Bay Area came by our house to interview me as our house was egged twice in the past decade. Once when we had a No on Prop 8 sign on our windows and the other time just right after the election in 2016.
